Boletus Edulis or Porcino D' Autunno (Autumn Porcino) is one of the most sought after Boletus species in the world. Referred to as the "King", this Porcino (called Cep in France) is found in North America, and Europe.
Porcini mushrooms are definitely the most desirable of the Boletes mushrooms for cooking and eating. Porcini is one of the finest mushrooms around and exceptionally delicious, strongly flavored with subtle undertones that can be almost addicting.
Rehydrate mushrooms in hot water for 30 minutes, drain, and squeeze out excess water.
